Phu Cuong waterfall – soft silk crossing the sky

Many people know the Central Highland with the Se San River, or aggressive Serepok River, but not many people realize that the land of sun and wind also produce the most spectacular waterfalls. And one of those most imposing waterfalls in Pleiku-Gia Lai is Phu Cuong waterfall
At the distances of 45 kilometers southeast of Pleiku city, Phu Cuong is considered as not only a grand and mighty waterfall but also an natural eco-tourism resort that makes a strong impression on both domestic and international tourists. Coming here, the steepen stairs together with the sun of Central Highlands can make tourists feel dizzy, but their fatigue seems to disappear just needing to put their foot to waterfall rocks ground. The white foam waterfall flows down from the high of 45 meters that makes it consider as a soft-silk crossing the blue sky; and sometimes, tiny droplets in the wind rush in and smooth on tourist’s face. And the most wonderful beauty of Phu Cuong waterfall is when the sunlight shines on leaves, flowers, and especially the flow of water below that make to light up the fanciful rainbow. Moreover, the luxuriant and diversified vegetation, pure atmosphere together with the melody of water slipping through crevice of rocks and bird singing to call partner are really special features of this land.

Phu Cuong waterfall flows on the lava base on an inactive volcano. The foot of the waterfall is full of numerous magmatic rocks with different shapes; and species of colorful wild flowers grow in between the alternating wet stone. In addition to a virtual sound of the falls, the scene is almost “absolute silence”. Waterfall flows to La Peet stream and flows into the Ayun River – where the Ayun Ha irrigation with water reservoir area of approximately 3.700 hectares was built. Sitting on boats down the line La Peet River and out to the Ayun River, tourists can go of the hook, enjoy mountain sightseeing and visit the village of Ba Na and Gia Rai nearby as well.
